About La Buena Vida
La Buena Vida means The Good Life in Spanish. For us this centers around a personal commitment to always search out what is good about life and to share it with our loved ones. A beautiful song, a glass of wine in good company, the joy of cooking something special for friends.
The founders of La Buena Vida are three passionate aficionados of Spanish cuisine. We met thanks to food (and then really bonded over drinks) and hope to share with you the pleasures of authentic Spanish cousine, those delicious dishes from our childhood kitchens and those we find in remote places throughout our Spanish homeland.
La Buena Vida is our invitation to you: come enjoy the experience of our authentic Spanish recipes. We’ll offer you the best ingredients and guidance so you too can easily prepare these delicious meals and share them with your loved ones.
Our Values
The Best of Spain
The Best of Spain; Piquillo Peppers from Navarra, Bonito del Norte from the Bay of Biscay, Tortilla de Patatas as served in Andalusian taverns, authentic Artisan Pastries from the villages… We travel throughout Spain to select our ingredients from the highest quality sources, many of which are small, family-owned producers.

Like Our Grandmas
It’s not an advertising cliché. We really did learn from our grandmothers (Coronada, Maureen, Pilar) that through cooking we could convey emotions and comfort, and also use the most natural and healthiest ingredients to share our energy with those we love.

We Help You Cook and Share
"A tourist is someone who thinks going home the moment they arrive (...) whereas a traveller might not come back at all." - Paul Bowles. We prefer to be travellers not tourists, and we believe that one of the most fullfiling ways to learn about another culture is to take a bite into authentic local dishes. In all of our packs, we’ll explain how to mix the ingredients to make a wide assortment of Spanish Tapas. In Our Recipes we give you step-by-step instructions on how to make Spanish dishes so that you can feel like an authentic, no-stress Spanish chef.
